Things Are Gonna Get Brighter Mural
This self initiated project took place during the pandemic in August 2020. I wanted to give park-goers some COVID-safe entertainment and encouragement. Several people set up chairs in the grass to sit and watch while others rode by on bikes and cheered or laughed. Some folks even came close enough to say it made their day and instilled a little extra hope in them. It was one of those days that brought out the best in people and I was happy to help make the day a little brighter.

I needed to create a movable wall that I, a 5ft tall person, could lift, fit in a car, assemble on my own, and store. With the help of my dad, we designed and assembled a freestanding portable wall. On painting day, I stacked the wall pieces up into the car, drove to the park, and assembled my canvas for the day in the grass.
